European Award for Languages Winners!

St. Austin's has been awarded a prestigious "European Award for Languages 2008".

This award has been given to us because of the interactive ICT materials we have produced at the school, namely a DVD which features our children talking Spanish. This DVD was given to each Year 6 pupil to take home and play on their DVD player or computer and, at the same time, practise their Spanish.

In July, Señor Keenan, Señora Martin and Señor Greene travelled down to London to receive the award from Sir Trevor MacDonald.
